The VITO conversion system: a practical concept, reliable technology and great flexibility
Efficiency has become the most important criteria when deciding to buy a new hearse. Vehicle type and fittings are the main aspects of the cost-benefit calculation. The idea behind our model-independent conversion system is based on the fact that vehicles that have been written off or are released from a lease contract often still have usable fittings. This fixed fittings are a burden for the resale value of a vehicle and, at the same time, the fittings need to be financed again with the new vehicle. There is a particular excess supply of goods vehicles at present. The advantages of a ‘movable’ conversion are clear:
- Existing vehicles can be sold as normal goods vehicles after the system has been removed
- Leasing limitations are eliminated
- Low-priced goods vehicles can be purchased, converted to hearses and used
- After it has been written off the vehicle can be resold independently of its former use.
